Now for my next act I'll make this Cranberry Orange Bread disappear in three days or less!

1TBS orange zest
2 c. flour (wheat or white, either one works)
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 tps baking soda
1 1/2 tps baking powder
3/4 tps salt
1/4 c. butter (1/2 a stick)
3/4 c. orange juice
1 egg
1 c. fresh or frozen cranberries

350 degree oven and a 9/5/3 pan. (anybody know how to make multiplication signs???)

Mix flour, sugar, baking soda/power and salt. Mix in melted butter. Mixture should now look crumbly looking. Stir in orange juice, zest, and egg till just moistened. Now stir in the cranberries. Spread in pan and cook for 55-60 minutes. Cool 5 minutes before transfering to rack.

Thank you for sharing your recipe, Bessie! Your mom sent me your blog link, and I've been reading as you update...but when you mentioned this bread (yesterday?), I searched your blog in VAIN looking for the recipe. Should have left it in God's hands, because He knew you'd put it up here for us! Can't wait to try it!
