I'm Back! And we're Celebrities!!!! *Cue dramatic music*

As some of you may know we live next to a church. They paved their parking lot about a year or so ago and it is wonderful. We enjoyed roller blading and bike riding over there. Recently the church closed and with that they put up ropes and signs over the ends of the lot that stated "private property no tresspassing" Many people over the past how ever long, have used the churches large parking lot for turning around. It was very convient. WELL....since the church's lot is off limits all these people have NO WAY to turn around!!!! GASP!!!

Sooo...they had the take the next possible turn around spot. OUR DRIVEWAY! My siblings LOVE to ride there bikes and play in the puddles that accumulate there. But now with people WHIPPING into our driveway it is no longer safe for them to play. And it's just rude when you have 4-6 people a day turning around in your driveway. It's one thing with the occasional lost person turning around but this is unreasonable. My parents decided to park our van at the end of the driveway for safety reasons. It's worked quite well.

You would not BELIEVE how many people today, have either driven by really slow (in hope to turn around) or did squealing U-Turns outside our driveway. This one guy with a silver truck did a very loud almost uncontrolled U-Turn into the field across from us and then continued down the road. He then comes back literally 30 seconds later and does the EXACT same thing. What? did he think that we moved our van in the past 30 seconds JUST for HIM? "Please, Sir, we WANT you to turn around in our driveway. We just LIVE to make your life convienent, never mind that you might hit a child or destroy out already muddy driveway ever more."
Our Van parked in our FAMOUS driveway
A section of our FAMOUS driveway
To purchase a piece of our driveway it will be $24.95 plus shipping and handling. XD :D :D

Now if they park the van about 8' up, and leave you in charge of collecting the turn around fee, you might be on to something!

But seriously, it must be very frustrating and totally intrude on your sense of security.

How annoying that the church is off limits now! I'm sure it's also annoying to have so many folks try to use your driveway to turn around. If I have to turn around, I try to find a spot that is NOT a driveway or one where no one is home! ;-)
