Summer has started!

Today was a gorgeous day out, a little on the cooler side but a wonderful day none the less.
Mom is planting some new plants in her shade garden right now. With the help of Gabe, Rachel, and Hannah. Hannah seems to be chattering to mama.

The kids have been creating "secret" forts out in the woods. (they aren't very secret now) The password for Gabe and Rachel's is "there's a boy in the woods!" No clue whatsoever who's idea THAT was. Or when they say "HUH??!! kissing!!??!" and flop backwards onto the trampoline. Hannah and Dan have a small one over near the driveway, it consists of a moss-covered branch and a few rocks. Oh, and any wild flowers she happens to bring in.

Our church has a drama team, they are pretty good. They placed 1st in TI (Teens Involved run by Word of Life) with "No strings attached" Brenda has decided to start a vocal team also, I've started going. It is actually pretty fun, I sing alto just like my mom. Hearing her all of these years helped me be able to pick out the harmonies. Kim (a friend of a friend) and I unfortunatly are the only ones who can hear the harmonies and it's hard to teach the alto to the other few girls who can't sing the soprano when they themselves can't hear the harmony's.

I love singing too and I've recently started trying out harmonies too. I sing in my church music group and my Dad usually leads.

Do the little kids drag you into their forts with them?

It's nice reading your blog.

They only drag me into them when they make "renovations"

Beside the worship songs what other songs do you like? "Song of Love" (Rebecca St. James) "Held," and "The Real Me" (Natalie Grant) I've found are great to practice harmonies with.
